NEW - CAT PROTEST
Just because this is a dog jog doesn’t mean our cat lovers can’t participate! We will have an entire area dedicated for a “cat protest” where cat parents and enthusiasts can celebrate their love of all things feline. The cat protest area will feature a fun and relaxing session of Cats N Mats kitten yoga and a lounge area where Cat Protest ticket purchasers can partake in meow-mosas and snacks!
Registration for the Cat Protest includes one hour of Cats N Mats yoga in the ARL Auditorium, a FREE meow-mosa, access to the Vendor Village, and access to the "protest" area with snacks, a cash bar, and the outdoor lounge seating area. Protesters also get a "Cats Rule, dogs drool" picket - all in good fun!
Dogs are not allowed in the auditorium. If you are planning on bringing your dog to Iowa Dog Jog, but would still like to participate in Cats N Mats, please arrange for another registrant to hold on to your dog during this activity. We encourage them to explore and see all of the other activities we have around the facility!
DOG BUCKS - THE EASY WAY TO PAY!
Instead of fumbling around for cash, or going through the steps of running a card, simply pay with Dog Bucks. Dog Bucks represent cash dollar-for-dollar and come in five dollar increments. Please note there are no ATM's on site. Please note we cannot make change for Dog Bucks.
Dog Valet is a group of volunteers who can lend an extra hand by monitoring your dog while you are taking care of business, looking for your newest family member, or spending time with kittens! Dog valet will be available at restrooms, outside the adoption center for participants interested in adopting, and limited dog valet will be available for Cat Protestors during Cats N Mats Yoga.
