Welcome to my page
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page and donate to the ARL. Andrew and I participated in this event last year and were so happy with all the love and support we received in donations for the ARL.
The ARL holds a very special and dear place in my heart ❣ the effort this organization puts in to serve people and pets across the state is monumental and I get to witness it every day at work.
When Andrew and I first got together in high school I had a dog named Layla (Pomeranian) and he had a dog named George (schnauzer). In college we had Layla and Max (Labrador retriever). After Max passed away we adopted two bonded senior dogs Liza (lab mix) 17 years old and Hannah (Australian Shepard) 12 years old. After a tough couple years losing Layla, Liza and Hannah we suddenly had no dogs in our life and I was missing a huge piece of my heart.
While my parents were in Africa we watched their dog Joe (shih Tzu) and as they were preparing to come home I knew I needed to adopt, as Joe helped with mending my heart. I found the sweetest dog , now Sundae(beagle/heeler mix) in Texas who was born blind. I had it all set up for her to be transported to Iowa and then COVID hit. It took us longer to get here but she is the love of our lives.
THEN... the ARL rescued over 500 dogs in the Daniel Gingrich case and we adopted Peach (Corgi)
We are a family of 3 dogs that we love so dearly. They put a smile on our face every day and for that we are so thankful. Rescuing and helping animals will always be at the for front of both of our lives. We want the world to be a better place and for that to happen the world needs to be kinder to animals.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and thank you so much for your generous donation, any little or big amount is truly saving a life.
